Redshift 7 Premium is a planetarium software with all the bells and whistles for a great price.
Designed for both the beginner and the experienced astronomy enthusiast, Redshift™ 7 contains the most up to date technology and information. From basic information, pictures and video up to telescope control in our Premium version, Redshift is ideal for your in the field observation. The Premium version of the program already contains more than 100 guided tours, 36 set to music scenarios as well as the 60-minute animation entitled "Our Universe". Additionally an hour of television quality videos featuring astronomical events is also provided.

MACRO RECORDER
You can create your very own Guided Tours by using the Macro Recorder tool. You can also add various multimedia files to your tour like photos and music, or just your comments about the scenario as it is played. Then you can just upload it and share with hundreds of other astronomers around the world. Of course it works also the other way around. Benefit from Guided Tours, Workspaces and pictures that other users posted online.
3D-FLIGHT AND JOYSTICK CONTROL
Now you can smoothly fly among the planets and stars on the Redshift sky in a special “3D-flight” mode and study celestial bodies from a close distance. You can also use a joystick to control your 3D-flight and other actions in Redshift.

ECLIPSE MAPS

Download new discoveries and orbital data of satellites, comets and asteroids from the latest object databases on the Internet into the main Redshift database. Updates are provided at least twice a month.
